The difference between Stem Cell Therapy and PRP is that PRP, plasma is extracted from blood and platelets are enriched to be injected. Harvested platelets are reinjected to heal tendons, ligaments, and cartilage. Stem Cell treatments have a more robust reaction releasing more healing factors and may activate surrounding stem cells which can provide results beyond the capacity of PRP.
